What defines us who we actually are? It's not what we want to be, but what it is we actually do. I want to be kind, but am I a kind person? Only if it is what I actually do.
So who am I today? What what is it that I actually do?
I work as an engineer, so this is a huge part of what I am.
I mentor younger engineers, so this is a huge part of what I am.
I run, most of the time, so I am a runner.
I am alone most of the time, I spend a lot of time alone, even in a crowd. So I am a solitary person.
Things I want to do but don't seem to be doing, an artist, a friend, a partner, a mountaineer. But to be these things, I must do these things, not just want to do them.
